Shay Mann

Shay joined the General Youth Division team in January of 2004 and has served in all three executive capacitiesDirector of Promotion, General Youth Secretary, and currently as General Youth President. He is a student ministry veteran and had the time of his life while filling the role of Youth Pastor for congregations in Texas City, TX and Atlanta, GA. Shay is helplessly in love with his wife Bridgette, who is his perfect compliment and ministry partner. The Manns are the adoring parents of two beautiful daughters, Breleigh and Blair.

 

Shay is passionate about the GYD and its mission to serve the pastors, churches and students of the United Pentecostal Church for the cause of evangelism and discipleship. He also loves spending time with his family, ministering to students in a wide variety of settings, and cruising around town on his motorcycle.


Michael Ensey

Michael joined the General Youth Division team as Director of Promotion in January 2010 and was elected General Youth Secretary in September 2010. He comes from the great state of Texas where he served as Youth President for seven years (2003-2010). After graduating from Texas Bible College in 2000, he served Living Way Church in Conroe, TX, as Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor until his recent transition. He married Rebecca in 1999 (she's from the very cool city of Seattle, WA) and feels very blessed to have such an amazing wife. He is also the very proud father of two awesome boys, Lincoln Michael and Grant Mason, and is the happiest daddy in the world since the arrival of his beautiful princess, Avery McKay. He is passionate about his family and loves hanging out with them.

 
Michael is also very passionate about youth ministry and considers it an amazing privilege to serve the youth of the UPCI. He loves young people and believes this generation of Apostolic Pentecostal youth will dynamically change their world for Jesus Christ. He spends his free time interacting on Twitter, playing golf and running marathons. His personal motto: "Running is optional. The race is not."

Matthew Johnson

Matthew joined the General Youth Division team as Director of Promotion in January 2011. The Johnsons have resided in Missouri for the past 17 years where he served as Promotions Director, Youth Secretary, and Youth President of Missouri District Youth. Matthew also served as a Student Pastor in Hannibal, Missouri for 15 years.

 

Matthew received his Bachelor of Science degree from Hannibal LaGrange College and his Master of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from William Woods University. He previously served as Administrator of a multispecialty surgical center in Northeast Missouri in addition to serving on several state medical boards. He is one of ten individuals in Missouri who are Board Certified as a Surgery Center Administrator. Prior to his work as an Administrator, Matthew worked in public relations & marketing for a regional healthcare system.

 

He met his beautiful wife, Becca, at a Missouri District Youth Convention where she turned him down several times. After several attempts, she finally said “yes” and they have been happily married ever since. The Johnsons have two children; Abriah (11) and Jace (6) and they treasure their family time. As a young person, Matthew’s life was deeply affected by those who invested in his life and it is now the Johnson’s desire to invest in this generation of leaders.

 


Holly Crider

Holly joined the GYD family in January 2011.  She has two beautiful girls, Courtney and Shaeley, who are her pride and joy! Holly loves to shop, decorate and spend time with her girls.  Holly was recently married to her best friend, Chuck on November 3rd.  She is extremely thankful for all of the many blessings God has given her.


Tamra Schultz

Tamra has been an Administrative Secretary for the General Youth Division since 2005. She is the secretary and treasurer for Fusion Student Ministries in Bridgeton, Missouri. Her favorite parts of ministry are working with students, Quiz teams, Real McCoy and SFC Scholarship applicants and taking pictures for her church. Tamra loves her family and friends and enjoys travelling.

Cindy Sorrels

Cindy has worked for the GYD since January of 2005. Her passion is working with Apostolic Youth Corps and seeing lives changed. She loves her family and lives for her nieces, Gracelyn, Macyn, and Shaelyn. She attended Indiana Bible College majoring in music, and became a certified massage therapist in 2007.

Trey Kiessling

Trey joined the General Youth Division in June of 2012. He attended Gateway College of Evangelism for two years. Trey has been a licensed minister since 2009 and evangelizes on the weekends. He enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends!
